Project Cost Estimator — User Guide
This tool gives you a quick, ballpark cost and delivery range for a web project. Pick a few options and the estimate updates live. Everything runs in your browser.
Quick start
- Choose what you're building (marketing site, web app, e-commerce, AEM, …).
- Set the project size and design level.
- Toggle the features you need (CMS, SEO, auth, integrations, …).
- Pick a timeline and currency, and optionally include ongoing support.
- Read the estimated cost range, timeline, and a line-item breakdown on the right.
How the estimate works
The estimate combines several inputs:
- Base cost — your project type, scaled by project size.
- Features — each selected feature adds cost and time.
- Design — the chosen design level adds its own cost and time.
- Timeline — a rushed timeline applies a multiplier; a relaxed one can reduce it.
The result is shown as a low–high range (not a single number) plus an estimated number of weeks, because real scope always varies. The breakdown panel itemizes where the cost comes from.
Currency and support
- Currency — switch between supported currencies; amounts are converted and rounded for readability.
- Ongoing support — toggle this to add an estimated monthly maintenance figure on top of the build cost.
Important
This is a planning aid, not a binding quote. It's meant to help you budget and scope a conversation. Final pricing depends on detailed requirements, integrations, content, and edge cases — use the Get an exact quote button to start that conversation.
